Keith Walpole is a writer and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. Alongside his Substack ‘Circles in Space’, he publishes a weekly newsletter, ‘Five Bullets’, which covers everything from art to music to history and science.
I love photography and I love outer space, and I love photographer Lincoln Harrison's Nightscapes portfolio.
View the Milky Way like you’ve never seen it before, right here.
Gangsta Grandparents: a hilarious, yet eye-opening photo series by Linda Dajana Kruger, aka Dai Lyn Power. Kruger had the genius idea of dressing up our elders in ‘gangsta’ outfits. Yes, these old folks look ridiculous, but the series can lend us perspective on how they view us and our ridiculous fashions.
Dai Lyn Power has some other amazing works. Check 'em out!

The year is drawing to a close and that’s when the ‘Year’s Best Of…’ lists start coming together. StereoGum is my go to for albums and Nat Geo for travels. A new favorite is Fubiz, a French photography blog that is full of fantastic, inspirational photographs.
This is Fubiz’s Best Photos of 2013. You’ll probably recognize some of these, maybe not, but they’re all powerful in their own way…maybe not so much Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMA’s, but memorable nonetheless.
Hope you’re 2013 was as good as mine!
Best Photos of Year 2013. Thank you Fubiz!

Rest easy to a man that fought the good fight.
I had the pleasure of visiting the KAWS exhibit at the Mary Boone Gallery, located in the heart of Chelsea, NY. The exhibit features three wooden statues, each over eighteen tall and nearly reaching the ceiling of the gallery. One piece, titled Along The Way, features two figures paired together, while the third piece, standing alone, is titled At This Time. The central motif of the exhibit revolves around loss, grief, and consolation.
You can see more images, as well as read the press release, at Mary Boone Gallery. KAWS currently has another exhibit at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts.
Make sure you check them out (if you have the opportunity to visit both New York and Pennsylvania)!

A letter from JP Morgan CEO To Gold Diggers
This might be the best thing I’ve seen in a while:
A reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan to a pretty girl seeking a rich husband
A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:
Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?
I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here.
I’m 25…
A must reblog from laluttecontinue. An incredible response from the JP Morgan CEO to a pretty girl seeking a rich hubby.
This Dad, and Reddit user Tatsputin, colors in his children’s drawings during his flights for work trips. He either uses colored pencils or an iPad.
“I fly out of state to work 10 days out of each month. When I go, the kids give me pictures they’ve drawn. I color them on the plane and give the pictures back to them when I return. Nothing fancy. The kids love them.
He takes before and after pictures, then uploads them to Reddit. What an awesome way to make art with your kids!
See the rest at Tatsputin.
